AIA is a virtual, private, fully accredited academy with curriculum approved in all 50 states, UC “A-G” system and AP courses are College Board Approved. If you are looking for an all-in-one solution that meets your specific needs such as  courses, schedules and budget AIA has the answer. 

We offer a traditional, academic focused curriculum that caters to grades K-12. AIA offers a variety of courses (200+) including core, STEM, foreign languages, technology, career electives, and more. Credit Recovery and Accelerated versions (perfect for summer studies) are also available.

This option is for students in grades 3-12 and provides increased structure and support including increased accountability and oversight of student progress, course pacing, grades and communication with parents. 72 hours of live instruction are delivered via Zoom per course. Schedules are agreed upon at the start of each semester. Teachers will meet with students for 50 minutes twice a week for 18 weeks per course. Shorter semesters such as 12 weeks will require 3 live sessions per week. Teachers provide lesson plans, activities to ensure retention and mastery and provide additional resources based on the specific needs of each student. This option has year round open enrollment.

Give your child the unique opportunity to learn with students from around the world! This option is available for grades 6-12. Our small class sizes of no more than 6 students provide opportunities to experience other cultures, cultivate long lasting relationships with students around the world. While also providing increased structure and support including increased accountability and oversight of student progress, course pacing, and grades. 72 hours of live instruction are delivered via Zoom per course. Schedules are agreed upon at the start of each semester. Teachers will meet with students for 50 minutes twice a week for 18 weeks per course. Teachers provide lesson plans, group discussions, activities to ensure retention and mastery and provide additional study resources. New semesters begin each month. September and January start dates offer the best chance for group studies. Small groups of no more than 6 students allow teachers to give each student the attention they need to succeed.

Is your family “on the go”? Is your child a self-starter? Working above or below grade level? AIA’s Self-Paced Study with Live Tutoring is the perfect solution for students who have busy schedules that make it difficult to log on for daily live classes, as well as independent learners who are ready to take full ownership of their learning. With a tablet, smart phone, laptop or desktop computer and an internet connection students are fully prepared to learn! All resources needed are housed within the learning platform, including a comprehensive, rigorous curriculum, and a library with hundreds of songs, videos and ebooks. No outside materials are needed. A teacher of record is provided and is available during normal business hours via our messaging system. In addition weekly live tutoring sessions are included with your teacher of record. These sessions are scheduled weekly and can include tutoring and/or parent teacher conferences.

Adult High School Diploma Program

It’s never too late to earn an accredited high school diploma with AIA. A fully customizable diploma completion plan is created for each student based on current/past transcripts. This program can be utilized by individuals or schools with struggling graduation rates.

Yes. AIA is Accredited by AdvancED/Cognia the parent organization for the North Central Association CASI, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools CASI and the Northwest Accrediting Commission.

 
Can I use a diploma from AIA to apply to a University?

Yes! AIA has a solid reputation within the academic community. Our graduates are able to pursue employment and/or a college education. All colleges, universities and employers accept credentials issued by a Regionally Accredited High School. AIA’s Accreditation is recognized by all 50-States Departments' of Education and the US Department of Education.
